1. The ForCleaners service
ForCleaners operates a cleaning enquiry, lead and connection platform. Customers can submit information about a cleaning job, and ForCleaners may make that request available to or share it with cleaning service providers that may be able to help.
2. Independent cleaning providers
Cleaning providers are independent businesses and are not employees, agents or representatives of ForCleaners. Unless we expressly state otherwise, ForCleaners does not guarantee, endorse or certify a provider and does not guarantee that a provider is licensed, insured, bonded, background-checked or otherwise qualified for a particular job.
Customers are responsible for deciding whether to hire a provider and for confirming the provider’s identity, qualifications, insurance, scope of work, price, availability and any other requirements important to them.
3. Requests, quotes and bookings
Submitting a request is free for customers and does not require you to hire a provider. A request does not guarantee that a provider will respond, that any particular number of providers will respond, or that a requested price, date or service will be available. Quotes, estimates, contracts, payments and cleaning work are arranged directly between the customer and provider unless ForCleaners expressly states otherwise.
4. Provider leads and fees
ForCleaners may offer cleaning businesses access to customer opportunities or contact information for a fee or under another commercial arrangement. Any applicable price and purchase terms will be disclosed to the provider before purchase or acceptance. Unless expressly stated otherwise at the time of purchase, a lead or introduction is an opportunity to contact a prospective customer and is not a guarantee that the customer will respond, book or pay for cleaning services.
5. Accurate and lawful use
You agree to provide information that is reasonably accurate and to use ForCleaners only for lawful purposes. You may not submit fraudulent or misleading requests, impersonate another person or business, interfere with the website, scrape or harvest information without permission, send automated spam submissions, introduce malicious code or use information obtained through ForCleaners for unrelated harassment or marketing.
6. Customer information
Providers receiving customer information through ForCleaners may use it only for legitimate purposes connected with the customer’s cleaning request and must handle it in accordance with applicable privacy and communications laws. ForCleaners may restrict access to future opportunities where information is misused.
7. Communications
By submitting a customer request or provider application, you authorize ForCleaners to contact you about that request or application. This does not by itself subscribe you to unrelated promotional marketing. See our Privacy Policy for more information.
8. No guarantee of third-party services
ForCleaners is not a party to the cleaning contract between a customer and provider and is not responsible for a provider’s acts, omissions, pricing, scheduling, property damage, injury, quality of work or failure to perform. Customers and providers are responsible for resolving issues arising from their own agreement, subject to rights that cannot legally be excluded.
9. Website availability
We may modify, suspend or discontinue features, service areas or parts of ForCleaners. We may reject or remove requests or provider applications that appear fraudulent, abusive, unsafe, unlawful or inconsistent with these Terms.
10. Intellectual property
The ForCleaners name, site design, text and other original website content are owned by or licensed to ForCleaners and may not be copied or used in a way that suggests affiliation or endorsement without permission.
11. Liability
To the extent permitted by applicable law, ForCleaners is provided on an “as available” basis and we do not promise uninterrupted or error-free operation. Nothing in these Terms excludes rights or remedies that cannot legally be excluded or limited.
12. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of British Columbia and the applicable federal laws of Canada, without limiting any mandatory consumer protections that apply where you live.
